It's time for our $5K projects to present on how they tested the feasibility, viability and desirability of their startup in just three minutes. At the end of the presentations, the Start Garden team will announce if any of the projects are ready to move on to the $20K tier of investment.

This class with focus on the prime basics of SEO. Where should you put your time and effort to make sure your site is more relevant to the search engines.  We will also spend some time doing specific site reviews of those attending the class as illustrations of these elements.

This session is designed to equip you with the basic skills you need to know before your next presentation. Participants will learn how to refine your topic, how to best identify the needs of your audience, gather and organize your research and present it all in such a way to leave them wanting more. We will also talk about the appropriate use of visuals and how to polish your delivery skills.

A brief primer on the various features of intellectual property protection:  patents, trademarks, trade secrets, and copyrights, as well as a discussion on the process of obtaining patents, trademark registrations and copyright registrations, intellectual property ownership issues, and typical pitfalls encountered by start-ups.
