Justin Herd
Creator, The One Bowl

Justin Herd, a recent GVSU graduate, is a passionate entrepreneur and inventor. In the summer of 2014, he used Kickstarter to raise $58,000 for his idea; The OneBowl. Currently, Justin is finishing up the manufacturing stage of the OneBowl and is looking to bring his product to market during 2015.

How do you create a brand when you don't even have a product? Will McDermott will be holding a conversation on the idea of branding and how it's never to soon to start. With audience participation we will all learn a bit from each other and maybe even a new start up idea.

Will McDermott is the founder and creative director of W&Company, a design agency that focuses on the design of marketing. With a background in editorial and corporate branding for the likes of People magazine, Field & Stream and Victoria's Secret, he has spent the past five years working with start ups and small businesses to establish their brands and communicate to customers effectively.
